Jack Roslovic might be back.
The Edmonton Oilers activated the forward from long-term injured reserve on Sunday, paving the path for his return to action.
Roslovic has not played since Nov. 25, when he blocked a shot with his foot.
The 28-year-old Columbus native has 10 goals and eight assists in 23 games in his first season with Edmonton, averaging 17:20 of ice time per night.
He could make his return as quickly as Sunday when the Oilers host the Vegas Golden Knights (Sportsnet, Sportsnet+, 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT).
To make room for Roslovic's return, the Oilers shifted Connor Clattenburg (eye) to LTIR and loaned Quinn Hutson to AHL Bakersfield.
Hutson had one goal in a brief three-game stint with the NHL club.
