Andrew Mangiapane is going to get another chance to showcase his skills.
Mangiapane skated on the Edmonton Oilers' third line at Monday's morning skate and is expected to play at night against the Chicago Blackhawks (Sportsnet, Sportsnet+, 8:30 p.m. ET / 6:30 p.m. MT).
Mangiapane has been a healthy scratch the past four games after registering just five goals and six assists with a minus-17 rating in his 40 games this season.
The two-year contract Mangiapane, 29, signed with Edmonton carries an average annual value (AAV) of $3.6 million, and has a full no-trade clause (NTC) that turns into a partial NTC (five teams) on June 16.
Because of Mangiapane's lack of production, the Oilers could be looking to move on.
Mangiapane is expected to replace Ike Howard in the lineup on Monday.
Connor Ingram will make his second straight start in net for Edmonton.
