The Edmonton Oilers' goalie depth will remain intact.
Calvin Pickard cleared waivers Monday, along with Calgary Flames forward Justin Kirkland, Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman reported.
Pickard, 33, last played on Jan. 8 in a victory over the Winnipeg Jets. He has fallen behind Tristan Jarry and Connor Ingram on Edmonton's depth chart.
In 16 games this season, Pickard has a 5-6-2 record with a 3.68 goals-against average and a .871 save percentage.
Kirkland has appeared in just 20 games this season, recording one goal and two points. The 29-year-old known as 'Costco' signed a one-year, $900,000 deal with the Flames last June.
