The Edmonton Oilers were forced to finish Wednesday's game against the Vegas Golden Knights with just five defencemen.
Blueliner Troy Stecher was forced to leave the game with an apparent lower-body injury late in the third period after blocking a shot.
After blocking this shot, Stecher hobbled to the bench and then immediately headed to the team's locker room with some assistance.
Stecher played 12:56 before he was forced to leave. Stecher is pointless in ten games with the Oilers this season.
He was acquired by the Oilers from the Arizona Coyotes at last season's trade deadline.
