Jason Dickinson is struggling to remain healthy.
The Edmonton Oilers forward has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Utah Mammoth (9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT on Sportsnet & Sportsnet+) with a leg injury.
Dickinson limped off the ice at morning skate, per Sports 1440's Jason Gregor. He also missed the first three games of the season with a foot injury, but it's unclear if the two are related.
The centre has played the past three contests, recording no goals, an assist, and three blocked shots while averaging 12:12 of ice time.
The Oilers acquired Dickinson from the Blackhawks last season, and in 17 games with Edmonton in 2025-26, he had a goal and three assists.
Dickinson now joins a long list of injured Oilers forwards, including Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and Zach Hyman.
Even with the injuries, the Oilers have begun the season 5-0-1.
