Jason Dickinson will not be in the lineup on Wednesday night.
The Edmonton Oilers forward will miss Game 2 against the Anaheim Ducks with an undisclosed injury.
Head coach Kris Knoblauch previously told reporters that Dickinson would be a game-time decision after the centre was absent from morning skate.
He will be replaced in the lineup by Curtis Lazar.
Dickinson recorded two goals for the Oilers in their 4-3 win over the Ducks in Game 1 on Monday.
Meanwhile, Knoblauch said Josh Samanski will play, making his NHL post-season debut. He replaces an injured Adam Henrique in the lineup.
Henrique left Game 1 early in the first period after a collision with teammate Kasperi Kapanen. He was confirmed out for Game 2 on Tuesday.
