The Edmonton Oilers are slowly closing in on their Opening Night roster.
The Oilers placed Josh Brown, Riley Stillman and Eduards Tralmaks on waivers for the purpose of assignment, while Tomas Cibulka, Connor Clattenburg, Quinn Hutson, Viljami Marjala, William Nicholl, Aku Raty and Connor Ungar were loaned to the AHL's Bakersfield Condors, the team announced Friday.
The Oilers also returned Rudolfs Berzkalns, Caden Harvey, David Lewandowski and Andrew Robinson to their junior teams. Seth Griffith was also released from his PTO.
The Oilers have one more pre-season game, against Calgary on Saturday, before opening their season on Tuesday hosting the Vancouver Canucks. Coverage begins on Sportsnet and Sportsnet+ at 8 p.m. MT / 10 p.m. ET.
