The Edmonton Oilers announced Sunday that they have recalled forward Ryan McLeod to their taxi squad.

A second-round draft pick in the 2018 draft, McLeod has been on fire with the AHL's Bakersfield Condors, with 28 points in 28 games.

The 21-year-old is currently fifth in the AHL in scoring and third in goals with 14.

McLeod joins the Oilers' taxi squad as Edmonton is in the midst of the North Division playoff race, currently sitting third with a record of 26-15-2. The Oilers open a quick two-game homestand against the Montreal Canadiens Monday night.
