The Edmonton Oilers have removed Zach Hyman from COVID-19 protocol and added Tyson Barrie to injured reserve, the team announced Thursday ahead of a game against the Nashville Predators.

Hyman was placed in protocol on Friday and is currently carrying an 11-game goal drought.

Barrie has been out since Saturday with an upper-body injury.
