The Edmonton Oilers have inked forward Patrick Russell to a one-year contract extension through 2020-21, the club announced Monday.
While terms of the deal were not officially disclosed, Sportsnet’s Mark Spector reports the extension is worth $750,000.
The 27-year-old right winger has spent parts of two seasons with the Oilers after three seasons with the AHL’s Bakersfield Condors.
Russell posted five assists through 45 tilts for the Oilers in 2019-20, after amassing 18 goals and 40 points in 51 appearances for AHL Bakersfield in 2018-19.
