The Edmonton Oilers have added some goaltending depth.
Connor Ungar has inked a one-year, two-way contract with the Oilers worth $850,000, the team announced on Thursday.
Ungar was originally signed by Edmonton out of Brock University in 2024.
The 24-year-old spent 2025-26 with three ECHL clubs and the Oilers' AHL affiliate in Bakersfield. He split time between the Fort Wayne Comets, Greensboro Gargoyles and Orlando Solar Bears.
The bulk of his playing time came with the Solar Bears, where he appeared in 19 games. In those contests, he went 7-8-3 with a 2.66 GAA and a .913 save percentage.
His level of play earned him multiple call-ups to Bakersfield. In 13 starts with the Condors, Ungar possessed a 9-2-2 record with a 2.51 GAA and .923 save percentage.
