The Ottawa Senators announced on Tuesday that the club had signed forward Wyatt Bongiovanni to a one-year, two-way contract extension.
The deal is worth $775,000 at the NHL level and $92,500 in the American Hockey League.
Bongiovanni, 24, was undrafted and has played 107 games at the AHL level, collecting 43 points (29 goals, 14 assists) and 62 penalty minutes. He split this past season between Belleville (Ottawa's farm club) and the Manitoba Moose.
