With the festivities nearly a month away, the NHL released current all-star fan voting results on Monday, showing who may represent each division as captains in Las Vegas.

Toronto Maple Leafs centre Auston Matthews leads the Atlantic vote getters with 17 per cent of division votes. Matthews is tied with teammates John Tavares and William Nylander for the team's lead in points, with all three registering 33 on the season. Matthews leads the Atlantic with 20 goals scored.

Tampa Bay Lightning centre Steven Stamkos follows Matthews, getting 11 per cent of division votes.

Edmonton Oilers teammates Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl sit atop the Pacific vote getters, receiving 29 and 11 per cent of division votes, respectively. McDavid leads the league in points (53) with Draisaitl right behind him in second (52). The two also led all NHL point getters in the calendar year of 2021.

Two very familiar faces lead the Metropolitan vote getters -- Alex Ovechkin of the Washington Capitals and Sidney Crosby of the Pittsburgh Penguins. Ovechkin leads the division with 31 per cent of votes, while Crosby registered 14 per cent. Both entering the league at the same time in the 2005-06 season, the two have a combined 20 all-star appearances.

And finally, in the Central, Colorado Avalanche centre Nathan MacKinnon sits atop the division with 14 per cent of votes. The Minnesota Wild's Kirill Kaprizov follows MacKinnon, receiving 10 per cent of division votes.
