Owen Sillinger is returning to the only franchise he's ever known.
The forward re-signed with the Columbus Blue Jackets on a one-year, two-way contract, the team announced on Tuesday.
Sillinger, 27, has been part of the Columbus organization since 2021 and played four consecutive seasons with the club's AHL affiilate Cleveland Monsters.
He has played one career NHL game, recording two penalty minutes.
Sillinger's dad, Mike Sillinger, played for an NHL-record 12 teams while being traded nine times in his career.
