Team Canada and the Florida Panthers got some good news regarding Brad Marchand.
The forward returned to the ice for Wednesday's game against the Boston Bruins after previous reports stated that he would be out for the contest.
Marchand had not played since Jan. 29, when he exited a game against the St. Louis Blues. The Team Canada forward has played 45 games this season around injuries, tallying 25 goals and 25 assists.
Sam Bennett was also good to go on Wednesday after leaving Monday's loss to the Buffalo Sabres with an upper-body injury. Bennett was added to Team Canada's Olympic roster on Tuesday as an injury replacement for Anthony Cirelli.
Anton Lundell is also likely to return against the Bruins after missing the past three games with an upper-body injury. He is also off to the Olympics as a member of Team Finland.
The men's Olympic hockey tournament begins on Feb. 11.
