Discipline could be coming for Florida Panthers forward Jesse Puljujarvi.
The Finnish winger will have a hearing Thursday for an illegal check to the head of the Tampa Bay Lightning's Mitchell Chaffee, NHL Player Safety announced on Wednesday.
Puljujarvi knocked Chaffee to the ice with a shoulder to the head during a third-period collision on Tuesday, leading to a match penalty.
Chaffee did not return to the game and is questionable to suit up for Tampa Bay's regular-season finale on Thursday.
Puljujarvi was skating in his fifth game with the Panthers since joining the organization on an American Hockey League PTO in February. He suited up for 26 games with the Pittsburgh Penguins earlier in the season before having his contract terminated.
