The Florida Panthers will have Radko Gudas in the fold long-term.
The veteran defenceman agreed to a six-year, $9-million deal ($1.5 million AAV), Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman reported on Wednesday.
Gudas, 36, was the Anaheim Ducks' captain for the past two seasons.
The Panthers acquired Gudas' rights from the Ducks in exchange for the rights to veteran forward A.J. Greer last month.
His steadying presence on the blue line helped the Ducks to their first playoff berth in eight years this past season. Anaheim defeated the Edmonton Oilers in Round 1 before falling to the Vegas Golden Knights in Round 2.
Gudas had two goals and 11 assists in 56 regular-season games with the Ducks last season.
