The Florida Panthers have signed forward Ben Steeves to a two-year, entry-level contract.
The deal will start in the 2024-25 season with Steeves joining the Charlotte Checkers on a professional tryout.
Steeves, 21, had 34 points in 37 games in the NCAA with the University of Minnesota-Duluth. It was the second straight year that he led all Bulldogs skaters in goals and points and he was named to the 2023-24 National Collegiate Hockey Conference (NCHC) All-Conference Second Team.
The Bedford, N.H., native went undrafted and is the brother of Toronto Maple Leafs forward Alex Steeves.
