Panthers sign forward Jack Studnicka to one-year, two-way contract

The Florida Panthers have added a depth forward.

Jack Studnicka signed a one-year, two-way contract with the reigning Stanley Cup champions, the team announced on Wednesday.

Studnicka, 26, is a veteran of 107 NHL games with the Boston Bruins, Vancouver Canucks and San Jose Sharks. The Windsor, Ont., native counts six career goals and 10 assists.

He spent last season with the AHL's Ontario Reign, the Los Angeles Kings' affiliate, with whom he put up 16 goals and 29 assists in 72 contests.
