The Florida Panthers are adding some depth behind superstar netminder Sergei Bobrovsky.
Brandon Bussi joined the two-time Cup champs on a one-year, two-way deal, the team announced Tuesday.
Bussi, 27, has played Boston Bruins' American Hockey League affiliate — the Providence Bruins — for the past four seasons.
He put up a 2.77 goals-against average and a .907 save percentage in 33 games last season.
The Sound Beach, N.Y., native signed with the Bruins as an undrafted free agent after finishing his collegiate career at Western Michigan University.
He has yet to make an appearance in the NHL.
