As if people in Las Vegas needed another reason to party.
But if anyone needed one, the Vegas Golden Knights sure provided it Tuesday by winning the first Stanley Cup championship in franchise history with a dominating 9-3 win over the Florida Panthers in Game 5.
Vegas dominated the game from start to finish, punctuated by a hat trick from their captain Mark Stone.
The Golden Knights used a complete team effort throughout their entire post-season run, which was on full display in the Cup-clinching game when seven different players scored a goal.
Now comes the fun, and we are sure the players are probably not too disappointed they were able to do it at home, in Vegas.
