Patrick Kane is running it back with the Detroit Red Wings.
The skilled winger has signed a one-year deal with the Red Wings worth a maximum of $7 million, the team confirmed on Monday.
Kane's base salary will be $3 million, but his contract carries up to $4 million in performance bonuses.
Kane, 36, recorded 21 goals and 38 assists last season with Detroit. He’s totalled 492 goals and 1,343 points in 1,302 games in his career.
The 2007 first-overall pick has also produced at a high rate in the playoffs, posting 53 goals and 85 assists in 143 games.
