Patrik Laine will make his Columbus Blue Jackets debut Tuesday night against the Dallas Stars, head coach John Tortorella told reporters.
The game can be seen on Sportsnet 360 beginning at 7 p.m. ET/ 4 p.m. PT.
Laine, who was acquired along with Jack Roslovic at the end of January in a blockbuster deal with the Winnipeg Jets for Pierre-Luc Dubois, was seen arriving in Columbus last Friday. He had been in Ottawa prior to his arrival sorting out his work visa.
Upon his arrival, Laine was required to quarantine for 48 hours as part of the NHL’s COVID-19 protocols.
Before being dealt to Columbus, Laine had been dealing with an upper-body injury that kept him out of the lineup since the Jets’ opening game of the season.
Roslovic, who was already in Ohio prior to the trade, made his Blue Jackets on Jan. 28.
