The Bolts acquired forward Lukas Svejkovsky from the Pittsburgh Penguins on Sunday, sending forward Bennett MacArthur the other way, the team announced.
Svejkovsky, 22, appeared in 30 games in the ECHL last season with the Wheeling Nailers. The Florida native registered 16 goals and 37 points as a Nailer while also suiting up for the Wilkes-Barre / Scranton Penguins in the American Hockey League.
He tallied two goals in 19 games alongside Pitsbugh’s AHL affiliate last season and was drafted by the Penguins in the fourth round of the 2020 NHL Draft.
Making his way to Tampa, MacArthur played in the ECHL last season and has put up 21 goals and 60 points across two teams.
