Pittsburgh Penguins forward Evgeni Malkin and defenceman Brian Dumoulin will both be game-time decisions for Game 2 against the New York Islanders on Tuesday.

Malkin missed Game 1 of the series on Sunday but did skate during Monday's practice, although he didn't take part in line rushes.

Dumoulin played 29:22 in Game 1 and appeared to be in some pain after blocking a shot in the third period. He didn't skate in Monday's practice and head coach Mike Sullivan called it a maintenance day for Dumoulin.

The Penguins dropped Game 1 to the Islanders in overtime and look to bounce back in Game 2, which gets underway at 7:30 p.m. ET/4:30 p.m. PT on Sportsnet.
