Pittsburgh Penguins forward Evgeni Malkin was forced to leave Saturday's game against the Seattle Kraken.
Malkin collided with Kraken forward Chandler Stephenson and awkwardly bent his knee.
He tried to stay in the game, but after taking a shift, he left and did not return.
The Penguins then ruled him out with a lower-body injury.
The 38-year-old veteran has skated in 46 of the Penguins' 50 games this season scoring nine goals and registering 34 points.
