Penguins' McCann fined $10K for elbowing Flyers' Sanheim

Pittsburgh Penguins forward Jared McCann has been fined $10,000 for elbowing Philadelphia Flyers defenceman Travis Sanheim.

The fine is the maximum allowable under the collective bargaining agreement.

McCann was issued a two-minute minor during the second period of Friday night's game against the Flyers after hitting Sanheim with an elbow while the latter was attempting to clear the puck out of the Philadelphia end.
