Penguins' McCann to have hearing for hit on Flyers' Sanheim

Watch as Philadelphia Flyers defenceman Travis Sanheim is shaken up after taking an elbow to the head from Pittsburgh Penguins forward Jared McCann.

Pittsburgh Penguins forward Jared McCann will have a hearing with the NHL's Department of Player Safety on Saturday for his elbowing infraction on Philadelphia Flyers forward Travis Sanheim.

During Friday's game between Pittsburgh and Philadelphia — a 5-2 win for the Flyers — McCann delivered a hit while Sanheim was clearing the puck out of the Flyers' end. In the process, McCann's elbow appeared to contact Sanheim on the side of the head.

McCann was issued a two-minute minor for elbowing on the play.
