Kyle Dubas and the Pittsburgh Penguins have added a depth forward piece to their roster.
The Penguins signed Anthony Beauvillier to a one-year, $1.25 million deal on Monday, the team announced.
The 27-year-old forward played with the Vancouver Canucks, Chicago Blackhawks and Nashville Predators last season and recorded five goals and 12 assists. He also added one goal and one assist in six playoff games with the Predators.
In 550 career games with the Predators, Blackhawks, Canucks and New York Islanders, the Sorel, Que., native has 116 goals and 130 assists.
