Penguins sign Tanner Howe to three-year, entry-level contract

The Pittsburgh Penguins have signed forward Tanner Howe to a three-year, entry-level contract, the team announced Wednesday.

Howe, 18, was selected in the second round (46th overall) of the 2024 NHL Draft by Pittsburgh. The captain of the Regina Pats last season, Howe led the WHL squad with 28 goals and 49 assists for 77 points in 68 games.

Previously, the native of Prince Albert, Sask. was a teammate of Chicago Blackhawks star Connor Bedard in Regina.
