St. Louis Blues will be without points leader David Perron for Game 1 of their Stanley Cup Playoffs matchup against the Colorado Avalanche due to COVID-19 protocols, coach Craig Berube told reporters prior to puck drop Monday.

Defenceman Vince Dunn also will not play after missing the team's final 11 regular-season contests due to an upper-body injury.

Perron had 58 points in 56 games for the Blues, including a team-leading 39 assists and was second in goals with 19. Dunn had 20 points in 43 appearances, with six goals and 14 assists.

On the flip side, Vladimir Tarasenko will return for Monday's tilt as he plays for the first time since May 3 due to a lower-body injury.

The 29-year-old tallied four goals and 14 points in 24 games this season.
