The Nashville Predators announced on Friday that they have added defenceman Mark Borowiecki and another member of their travelling party to the COVID-19 protocol list.
The Predators are in Chicago to face the Blackhawks on Friday night. They are already without Ryan Johansen, Mikael Granlund, Matt Luff, Michael McCarron, Philip Tomasino, Ben Harpur and Nick Cousins.
Head coach John Hynes, three assistants and goaltending coach Ben Vanderklok also entered the protocol.
The team’s next meeting is on Sunday against the Carolina Hurricanes, who have been heavily impacted by a COVID-19 outbreak themselves.
