The slumping Nashville Predators are getting a huge boost to their lineup.
Captain Roman Josi is returning to the lineup Saturday against the Colorado Avalanche, head coach Andrew Brunette told reporters.
The defenceman has been sidelined since late October with an upper-body injury, for which he was classified as week-to-week.
At the end of last season, the Predators shared that Josi had been diagnosed with postural tachycardia syndrome (POTS), but this most recent ailment is not related to the diagnosis.
The 35-year-old has one goal and four assists over eight games so far this season.
The Predators are at the precipice of yet another lost season, sitting last in the Central Division with a 6-10-4 record.
