Predators sign F Zach Sanford to one-year, $850K contract

Forward Zach Sanford has signed a one-year, $850,000 deal with the Nashville Predators, the team announced Friday.

Sanford split last season between the Ottawa Senators and Winnipeg Jets, registering nine goals and 12 assists in 80 games. He also had career highs in hits (169) and blocked shots (67).

The six-foot-four Sanford spent the previous three seasons with the St. Louis Blues, winning the Stanley Cup in 2019.

Sanford has 47 goals and 48 assists in 289 career NHL games with the Washington Capitals, Blues, Jets and Senators.
