The Nashville Predators added some depth to their net by signing goalie Kasimir Kaskisuo to a one-year, two-way contract. The contract will pay him $700,000 at the NHL level next season.
Kaskisuo, 27, appeared in 27 games with the AHL’s Toronto Marlies last season, posting a 14-9-2 record with a .909 save percentage. He’s appeared in 95 AHL games over four professional seasons, posting a 46-32-10 career record.
