The Nashville Predators have signed one of their top prospects to his entry-level contract.
Forward Aiden Fink, who is coming off an impressive junior season with Penn State, has signed a three-year, entry-level contract. The contract begins this season, meaning Fink could make his Predators debut as soon as this week to help in the playoff race.
Fink, 21, was a seventh-round pick of the Predators in 2023, but his impressive college career has made him one of the more exciting prospects in Nashville's farm system.
Over three seasons with Penn State, he scored 125 points, tied for the third-most in program history. He was a Hobey Baker finalist in his sophomore season, and this year he had 38 points in 30 games while serving as an alternate captain.
Fink turned pro after Penn State's season ended, signing an amateur try-out with the AHL's Milwaukee Admirals. In six games with the Admirals, he had three goals and 10 points.
The Predators are one point behind the Kings for the final wild-card spot in the Western Conference. They finish the season against the San Jose Sharks on Monday and the Anaheim Ducks on Thursday.
