The Calgary Flames said patrons will no longer have to show proof of vaccination against COVID-19 to attend their home games at the Scotiabank Saddledome beginning Wednesday.

Calgary Sports and Entertainment Corporation (CSEC) made the announcement Tuesday and also said full food and beverage service will return when they host the Vegas Golden Knights.

Capacity limitations will stay at 50 per cent at least until the end of the month and those attending are still required to wear face masks at all times unless actively eating or drinking. Children aged 12 and under will not have to wear masks while attending games starting Monday.
