The New York Rangers have agreed to terms with restricted free agent forward Phillip Di Giuseppe, the team announced Tuesday.

Terms of the deal have yet to be disclosed.

Di Giuseppe split the 2019-20 season between the Rangers and the AHL's Hartford Wolf Pack. In 20 NHL games last season, Di Giuseppe registered one goal and four points. He skated in three games with the Rangers during the Stanley Cup Qualifiers.

The 27-year-old led the Rangers -- and ranked 23rd in the NHL -- in shots on goal per 60 minutes of ice time at 5-on-5 in 2019-20 with an average of 9.7 shots. The Toronto, Ont., native has skated in 170 career NHL games with the Rangers, Carolina Hurricanes and Nashville Predators while recording 15 goals and 45 points.

Di Giuseppe was selected by the Hurricanes in the second round of the 2012 NHL Draft, 38th overall, and signed as a free agent by the Rangers in July of 2019.
