The New York Rangers are re-upping with another one of their big-bodied forwards.
The Blueshirts have signed six-foot-seven forward Adam Edstrom to a two-year deal, the team announced Monday.
The deal is worth $1.95 million or $975,000 AAV, as reported by Larry Brooks of the New York Post.
Edstrom did well in a limited role with the Rangers in 2024-25, notching career highs in games played (51), goals (five) and assists (nine) while playing 9:16 a night. He ranked eighth on the Rangers in hits with 94.
The 24-year-old had his campaign cut short after suffering a lower-body injury on Feb. 1 against the Boston Bruins.
In 62 career games at the NHL level, he has seven goals and four assists.
A native of Karlstad, Sweden, Edstrom was selected by the Rangers in the sixth round, 161st overall, at the 2019 NHL Draft.
