Injury problems continue for Filip Chytil.
The New York Rangers forward was ruled out of Thursday's game against the San Jose Sharks with an upper-body injury, the team announced in the third period.
Chytil collided with teammate K'Andre Miller during the second period and appeared wobbly when he got up, Vince Z. Mercogliano of USA Today reported.
After the game, Rangers coach Peter Laviolette told reporters Chytil was considered day-to-day and was being evaluated.
Chytil played just 10 games last season after a suspected concussion.
The Czechia native had four goals and five assists in 14 games this season entering play on Thursday.
