The New York Rangers have signed winger Anton Blidh to a two-year, two-way contract extension.
The extension sees Blidh make $775,000 at the NHL level and $350,000 in the minors, though he has a guaranteed salary of $385,000 for both years of the contract.
Blidh, 28, has played 84 career NHL games, recording 12 points (four goals and eight assists). He was traded by the Colorado Avalanche to the Rangers back on March 3, in exchange for centre Gustav Rydahl.
In 14 games with the Avalanche, he did not collect a point. Blidh spent the remainder of the 2022-23 season in the AHL, where he collected 12 points in 36 games with the Colorado Eagles and 17 points in 11 games with the Hartford Wolf Pack.
