The New York Rangers have locked up one of their young prospects.
New York and forward Nathan Aspinall agreed to terms on a three-year, entry-level contract on Thursday, the team announced.
Aspinall, 19, leads the OHL's Flint Firebirds in scoring this season with six goals and four assists over six games.
Last season, he had a career-high 30 assists and 47 points in 62 games with the Firebirds.
The Rangers selected the Markham, Ont., native in the fifth round of the 2024 NHL Draft.
