The Detroit Red Wings have claimed defenceman Olli Juolevi off waivers from the Florida Panthers, according to Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman.

Juolevi was placed on waivers by the Panthers on Saturday. He's played in 10 games this season without registering a single point.

The New York Islanders were also busy on the waiver wire on Sunday, having claimed forward Austin Czarnik from the Seattle Kraken.

Czarnik, 29, was picked up off waivers by the Kraken in early February from the Islanders. In 17 games with both teams this season, Czarnik has registered a combined two goals and five assists.
