The Detroit Red Wings could have their captain back for a big game.
Dylan Larkin is a game-time decision for Tuesday's contest against the Ottawa Senators (Sportsnet, Sportsnet+, 7 p.m. ET / 4 p.m. PT), head coach Todd McLellan told reporters on Monday.
Larkin has not played since March 6 as he's nursed what appeared to be a leg injury he suffered that day against the Florida Panthers.
The 29-year-old has 55 points (28 goals, 27 assists) in 63 games on the season.
Detroit (38-24-8) sat one point out of a wild-card spot ahead of action on Monday with one game in hand on the New York Islanders (40-26-5), who currently occupy the position.
Meanwhile, the Senators (36-24-9) are also lurking just behind the Red Wings in the standings.
