Detroit Red Wings captain Dylan Larkin has been cleared to return to the lineup after a false-positive COVID-19 test forced him to be lifted mid-way through a game earlier this week.
Larkin was removed from Tuesday’s loss to the Dallas Stars during the second intermission due to a positive COVID-19 test. However, after his result was confirmed a false positive, he re-joined the team in Las Vegas and participated in morning skate before Thursday’s game against the Golden Knights.
The 25-year-old Larkin is off to a strong start to the season centering a line with Tyler Bertuzzi and rookie-scoring leader Lucas Raymond. In 14 games this season Larkin has eight goals and 14 points.
You can watch the Red Wings take on the Golden Knights on Sportsnet and SN NOW beginning at 10 p.m. ET/ 7 p.m. PT.
