The Detroit Red Wings will be without the services of centres Dylan Larkin and Andrew Copp for the next two weeks.
Red Wings head coach Todd McLellan provided the update to reporters on Thursday.
Larkin suffered a non-contact injury in a game on March 6 against the Florida Panthers when his leg bent awkwardly while taking a shot on net in the third period.
McLellan had initially said post-game that he didn't think the injury would be long-term, and the next day added that Larkin was taking it "day-by-day."
In 63 games this season, the Red Wings captain has 55 points (28 goals and 27 assists).
Meanwhile, Copp was injured in a game on March 10, also against the Panthers.
His lower-body injury occurred in the second period when he got tangled up on a face-off with Florida's Tomas Nosek.
Copp has 37 points (eight goals and 29 assists) in 65 games this season.
