The Detroit Red Wings have signed goaltender Kevin Boyle to a one-year deal.
Boyle played 20 games with the AHL’s San Diego Gulls in 2019-20, posting a 9-7-2 record with a 2.82 goals-against average and a .911 save percentage. He was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Anaheim Ducks in 2016.
Boyle made his NHL debut for the Ducks against the Vancouver Canucks during the 2018-19 season, posting a shutout against the Vancouver Canucks. He has a 1-3-0 record with a 2.17 goals-against average and .928 save percentage in five career NHL games.
