Moments after the Detroit Red Wings traded the 73rd-overall pick in the 2022 NHL Draft to the St. Louis Blues for Ville Husso, they're signing him to a three-year deal.

Husso, who would have been an unrestricted free agent on July 13, will make $4.75 million a year over the next three seasons, according to Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman.

The 27-year-old had a .919 save percentage in 40 games with the Blues this season, also making seven playoff appearances.
