The 34-year-old spent the past five seasons with the New York Islanders after stints in Pittsburgh, Phoenix and San Jose.
Greiss posted a .913 save percentage and 2.74 goals-against average in 2019-20, after coming up with a career-best — and William M. Jennings Trophy-winning — .927 save percentage one year prior.
He’s finished with a save percentage above .920 on two occasions, the other coming in 2015-16, also for the Islanders.
