The Pittsburgh Penguins are adding some size up front.
Elmer Soderblom is heading to Pittsburgh from the Detroit Red Wings for a third-round pick in 2026.
Soderblom, 24, is a six-foot-eight winger who is in his third NHL season.
He has two goals and one assist in 39 games this season. His position on the team was in question after the Red Wings re-acquired David Perron from the Ottawa Senators on Thursday.
The draft pick going back to Detroit originally belonged to the San Jose Sharks.
